Amaretto Cheesecake

amaretto cheesecake

Crust:

1 1/2 c Graham cracker crumbs

2 tb Sugar

1 ts Cinnamon

1 Stick margarine; melted

Cake:

24 oz Cream cheese

1 c Sugar

4 Eggs

1/3 c Amaretto (up to 1/2 cup)

Topping:

8 oz Sour cream

1 tb Plus 1 tsp. sugar

1 tb Amaretto

Garnishes:

Almond halves.

Shavings from a Hershey bar.

Combine crust ingredients and press into the bottom and sides of a 10" springform pan.

Combine cake ingredients and pour into the crust.

Bake at 375 F. for 45 to 50 minutes.

Turn the oven to 500 degrees F.

Meanwhile, combine topping ingredients.

Spread on the cheesecake and return to the oven for five minutes.

Chill overnight and garnish as desired.
